About ContractorReady

ContractorReady is an independent course for passing the CSLB Law and Business exam, in English and Spanish. We built it because the options were expensive, English-only, or plain question lists without explanations.

We are not CSLB

We're not affiliated with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) or PSI. We don't sell real exam questions; nobody can legally do that. We don't process license applications.

How we write and review

• Every lesson follows CSLB's official outline (study guide 13E-LAW).
• Every question cites the law or official publication it comes from, with an as-of date for amounts and deadlines.
• Our Spanish uses the terms from CSLB's official Spanish study guide.
• Expert review by a California licensed contractor: in progress.
• Every question has a report button, and we check reports against the official source.
